Freshman applicants can schedule a personalized campus visit online. You can select from a variety of visit-related activities, including admissions information sessions, campus tours and sessions at many colleges and schools on campus.

Information Sessions at Regional Centers in Texas
Can't make it to Austin for an information session? Our four regional admissions centers frequently offer sessions for prospective students and families to learn about UT Austin, the admissions application process and more. Visit the Dallas, Houston, San Antonio or Rio Grande Valley admissions centers pages for information session dates and times.
Campus Visits for Prospective Transfer Students
If you decide to check out The University of Texas at Austin for yourself, you’ll be able to speak with an admissions counselor, spend the day exploring facilities, visit with academic advisors, and take a tour of the campus.
Transfer admissions counselors are available on a walk-in basis, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1-4:30 p.m., in the Office of Admissions in the Main Building, Room 7.
Campus tours are held Monday – Friday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and on Saturday at 2 p.m. (2 p.m. only during December and May.) Tours depart from the ground floor of the Main Building (the Tower). For more information call 512-475-7399. No tours are conducted on official university holidays.
