For prospective and incoming students Admissions Events

Each year the Office of Admissions hosts a variety of campus events just for prospective and incoming students and their families. Taking part in campus events offers you the opportunity to see what the campus is really like, interact with other prospective students, and receive information directly from the staff members and admissions counselors who are trained to help prospective students find answers to the questions that always cause the most trouble.

Events include those designed to offer prospective freshmen a preview of the campus like Explore UT (March 2012), Longhorn Saturday and Discover UT. Transfer to Texas (November 12, 2011) is a special event for prospective transfer students and students currently enrolled in the Coordinated Admission Program.

Other events include those held in our regional Admissions Centers (Houston, Dallas, El Paso, Harlingen, San Antonio, Longview and Lubbock), those held across Texas throughout the year attended by representatives from the university, and those held on high school campuses.
