Secondary and post-secondary Transcripts & Related Documents
If you’re applying for undergraduate transfer admission as an international student, you must submit both an official secondary school record and official transcripts of all previous college-level work.
Secondary School Record
You are required to upload a PDF copy of your offficial secondary school record that shows completion of an accredited secondary school equivalent to that of a United States high school; include subjects taken and grades earned, including official final examinations taken at the end of the secondary school program, such as the G.C.E. “O” and “A” Level Examinations, school leaving certificates, and matriculation exams.
Post-secondary School Record
Upload a PDF copy of official transcripts (mark sheets) of all college-level work, showing subjects completed and grades earned at each institution. Even if courses taken at one institution are recorded on another college’s transcript, you must submit transcripts from the original institution at which the courses were taken. We will not accept transcripts by email or by fax.
Submitting post-secondary transcripts
Official transcripts
To be official, each transcript must include the official seal of the college or university or a signature of a college or university official. Copies or faxes are considered unofficial.
Transcripts from all institutions
If you’ve enrolled in coursework from more than one college or university, submit official transcripts from each of them by the application deadline.
Completed work at your current institution
Submit official transcripts showing any and all work that you have completed or will complete by the deadline from your current college or university (even if you are currently enrolled in additional courses there).
Work you’re enrolled in at the time of the deadline
If you’re enrolled in courses at the time of the deadline, submit an updated transcript after you finish your work.
Deadlines for transcripts
- Official transcripts of completed coursework must arrive in the Office of Admissions by the application deadline.
- Updated transcripts for courses you’re enrolled in at the time of the deadline should be submitted as soon as possible after you complete the work.
Reporting all college coursework
Any applicant (including transfers and former students) who has undertaken coursework at another college or university may not disregard any part of his or her academic record. Applicants who fail to report all college coursework or who otherwise falsify any part of their application or the documents required to complete the application process are subject to disciplinary action (which may include expulsion and loss of credit).
More about Transcripts and Submitted Documents
- English Translations: If the documents you submit (secondary and post-secondary) are written in a language other than English, submit complete and official English translations together with the original language records.
- Mark Sheet: Each transcript (mark sheet) should contain a complete record of studies at the institution from which it is issued (i.e., the subjects taken and grades or marks earned in each subject).
