Admissions factors What We Consider
We consider many factors as we review applications and make admission decisions. In particular we’re looking for insight into two aspects of each applicant: academic achievement and personal achievement.
We review each application holistically; no single factor or combination of factors will guarantee you admission to the University (other than being in the top 10%), and no factor will prevent you from being considered for admission.
Use your application to tell us everything we might need to know about you. If you’re not sure whether something will matter to us, include it; let us decide if it will help us get to know you.
The standards we use to determine how each factor affects an individual decision may be affected by the type of applicant being considered, the major to which the applicant is applying, and any special circumstances.
