Information about the Coordinated Admission Program 2009-2010 CAP Students

Now that you’re enrolled in the Coordinated Admission Program (CAP), you may be wondering what to expect and how you’ll eventually end up at UT Austin during the 2010 fall semester.

It might be helpful for you to know that UT Austin actually thinks of enrolled CAP students as transfer students. You don’t have to apply, of course, but the process that we go through to get you to Austin is a lot like that for a transfer student.

• First you’ll enroll in and complete courses during the 2009 fall semester and the 2010 spring semester of your freshman year. Make sure the courses you take are on the approved course list.
• Next you’ll send us a transcript after the spring semester that shows us that you’ve completed them.
• Then we’ll look at what you send us to make sure you’ve met the CAP requirements.
• And, if you have, we’ll admit you to UT Austin for the 2010 fall semester.

That’s pretty much it – minus the details.
